Black milk on Fridays

This past November 28th was not a normal November day because of two specific reasons. One because Black Friday was on that day, so shopping frenzy is a must because sells are all over the place. But also it was my birthday a good reason to get money and go with friends and spend it on cool things. A few calls, and at around 12 o clock me and my friends, taylor and akshai decided to hit up a local spot that is getting some notoriety, as it should. Milk bar is the name of this establishment, and everything inside of it has a very smooth taste too it as well. They were having a black Friday sell, so it was definitely the right time to go into this aesthetically pleasing boutique. Its located on north high st. which is like a pretty hip area of Columbus. Milk bar had brands by A.P.C., Rag and bone, Hyden yoo, Ludwig, Surface to air, and alot of other refreshing clothes that most people in the Midwest would have to head to Chicago or new york to enjoy. The people are great, the store is faf, what more can i say. loved the time spent there. I picked up some nice rag and bone jeans; really awesome. They are getting common projects sneakers soon. Fuckouttahere.

Hood Love

I really want some jewelry right now. i don’t know why. I have never really had any but i want to change that in the coming months. I spotted this on Tisa vision, home base of Taz Arnold of  Sa-ra Creative partners, had these four fingered rings, that are kind of flashy, but OK. I enjoy it. Specially because it says hood love.

I got onto The award tour at the beginning of the summer and now another offering is supposed to be coming out this year. I am constantly waiting so i can post the pictures up because i love the stuff, but its taking for ever and all i have is this teaser photo. As soon as it hits his site, it will hit here.

Hood by Air

I really like to find things that are fresh, that are new to the scene, and that are still up and coming; still in its infancy. One of my latest finds is Hood by air. some of the most out there stuff i think i have ever liked since i first was introduced to high fashion brands. The detail is amazing, but the fact that the clothes give you a futuristic modern day masculine feel is what really is attractive about it. Its somewhat suggestive in asking what is masculine and whats not, but you definitely feel more of the masculine tone with the garments. I know i love it. You should too. Duh. The Designer is Shane Oliver, and you should check out the site because its pretty legit. You can ride there through the Inter-web Here.
